GVSG was founded in 1997 for the purpose of promoting the need for Industry, Trade and Commerce to be aware of all aspects of Safety and Health within the Goulburn Valley.

It is the aim of this group to promote and encourage local businesses to develop proactive safety systems across industries and businesses operating throughout the GV.
